Svetlana Allilueva

Svetlana's creative journey began at an early age. Even in kindergarten, she effortlessly performed dance routines. In school, she became a member of a women's vocal ensemble, where her talent was noticed by the director of the music school. Svetlana successfully completed her studies at the music school, where she learned piano, bandura, and pop vocal. The next and most significant stage was her education at the Higher Academy of Variety and Circus Arts. The skills and experience she gained paid off: at 17, she signed her first star contract. Now, Svetlana has been a soloist in the popular group VIP for four years.

VIP is not just a band, but a creative collective where music is created in the best traditions. Live instruments and unique melodies inspire the writing of lyrics that "you will never be ashamed of," Svetlana proudly shares. The lyrics for the songs are written by the girl in collaboration with a talented team. In the group, along with composer and leader Sergey Nizovtsev, she recorded and released her first musical masterpiece, "Cosmic". On December 20, 2024, the band presented their long-awaited album "AeroPlane," which includes 13 tracks. The release was a great commercial success and was warmly received by listeners

S.I.: Svetlana, your name and surname inevitably evoke associations with the daughter of Joseph Stalin. How often do you encounter this question?

S.A.: It often elicits a vivid reaction, interest, and a lot of questions, and for some, even chills of fear. (Laughs)

S.I.: How does your name influence your life and career: does it open new doors for you or, on the contrary, create difficulties?

S.A.: Life is so multifaceted, and you can discover new doors every day. To be honest, I don’t always share my last name with everyone, but I carry it with pride from our illustrious lineage! I was raised quite strictly and clearly from childhood. I try to live by principles and fairness. I am always concerned about my purpose: my mission and the tasks I can fulfill for our planet.

S.I.: What inspires you to write the script for a music video: your own experiences or someone else's stories?

S.A.: Each video is a reflection of my inner world. The script is born in my mind: I see images and through music in the studio, I start to realize the idea. For example, I wanted to bring my first track "Cosmic" to life in the Maldives.

S.A.: My dream is cinema! I would like to realize myself in film as an actress.

S.I.: What are you most grateful for in life?

S.A.: I believe in God, and miracles happen in my life. The greatest reward and compliment from the Almighty is the birth of my daughter, Emilia.

S.I.: What are your upcoming plans and projects? What can your fans expect?

S.A.: We are preparing completely new music for our listeners and fans, as well as for those who have not heard us yet. I assure you — they will! It will be a new style, a new perspective on the music of the VIP group. In the near future, we are working on two new tracks and a new video project where I will be mastering ballet.
