S.I.: Tatyana, could you please share what projects you are currently involved in? Where can your fans expect to see you soon?
T.Ch.: Right now, we are filming the second season of the action detective series "Undercover Taxi" in St. Petersburg and the surrounding area. I absolutely love this team! The fantastic director Stas Shmelev, amazing co-stars, and an exciting storyline! In the role of the beloved dog Baton, we will have his sister, Daphne, who is stepping in after the tragic loss of our furry friend. We all miss our old four-legged companion dearly.
However, Daphne has already charmed the crew during her first day on set. As always, we'll have to wait for the premiere, but I keep my fans updated on social media!
I’m really looking forward to the release of the new comedy show "Bolshaya Raznitsa." Since spring of last year, I’ve been part of the project’s troupe of performers. This is a completely new experience for me. I never could have imagined myself as an actress in such a challenging genre as parody. The project has featured stars from past seasons, and this time Dmitry Khrustalev has joined us. I hope the audience will enjoy it.
S.I.: What projects and areas are you currently most interested in?
T.Ch.: As always, I’m drawn to serious dramatic projects. Strong characters, complex destinies, and intricate stories are what captivate me. There are so many high-quality series being released on online platforms right now, and I would love to be a part of one of those narratives. Light comedies and children's tales also bring joy to audiences, and that genre is not the simplest either, so it would definitely interest me.
Currently, I’m working on a screenplay for a short film, which might serve as a good pitch for a TV series. I’m taking on the role of the idea's creator here. If everything goes well, we’ll start filming soon. I also write poetry, and last year my friend and I decided to experiment by turning some of them into songs. We're still in the early stages, exploring and trying things out, but I believe we have some promising material. Time will tell.
S.I.: What is your main career goal, and what would be your greatest success?
T.Ch.: For some time now, I’ve stopped thinking about the magnitude of success... I remember that I've always been fortunate, and those "breakthrough" roles came my way when I was simply focused on doing my job with complete dedication, without worrying about success. My greatest success is finding joy in my work! That's what I wish for everyone.
S.I.: With such a busy schedule and high demand, you manage to maintain a high level of energy, charm, and always look amazing?
T.Ch.: Thank you. I've always thought, and it seems to be true: the more tasks you have, the more you accomplish. Energy breeds energy. If you don’t get lazy and keep yourself in shape, everything will go smoothly, and you'll manage to do everything you've planned!
S.I.: What about your recent premieres in the theater?
T.Ch.: In December of last year, the premiere of the political satire #NEREVIZOR, directed by Artem Kagramanyan, took place. We are performing this play in Moscow at the Yermolova Theater, as well as touring across Russia. The cast is brilliant! There are masters from whom one can learn a lot! It’s a vibrant comedy that will leave no one indifferent. Starting in June, I can be seen again on the stage of the Minsk Chamber Drama Theater in the role of Veronica in the play "Veronica Decides to Die," based on the bestselling novel by Paulo Coelho. We are also looking forward to the return of the lyrical comedy, or comedic drama, "Between Two Fires," about the life and work of the great actor, director, and teacher Mikhail Chekhov, to Moscow stages!
In her free time, she enjoys ballet, horseback riding, and equestrian acrobatics, practices strip plastic dance, and writes poetry.
